Haha I find your post refreshing. I am doing a little DIY here and there but sometimes I just get fed up and say why take time away from other things I could be doing when I could just buy this and save myself a little stress?
I am working on the STDs. They are about as DIY you can get (except for printing the pics on the magnet. I left that up to Vistaprint.) I printed addresses on the envelopes using the printer at home and I'm stamping the envelopes with a rubber stamp and ink. Like you, I began to not care that there was a smudge here or there on the envelope. I realized that when I receive something in the mail, the envelope is either thrown away or not really the focal point.

Today I finished my invites! (I know, I know, a little early as I wont send them out until March 1st)
No, I didn't tie any ribbon, take any photos, write, stamp or draw anything, or even design them unless you count picking out the design online and clicking on it. Yet I felt that I DIYed so much today-I licked the envelopes, stuck stamps, and pulled envelopes out of the jammed printer.
Now, don't get me wrong, I will bow down to all DIY-ers out there and have the utmost respect! I even love to scrapbook but with exactly 4 months today, I'm gett a little dizzy headed about doing anything wedding related....
This invitation task was probably the most tedious (and yes, after a while I stopped caring if grandma and grandpa's envelope MAY have a smudge on it, hope I'm not going to hell for that but they can barely see) unless you count the origami favors that my son (NOT ME) will make as soon as the 1,200 sheets of origami paper arrive. Actually, I do have a part in this, I have to make a little tag (typed in Word, of course) to attach to the origami piece with our names, the date, and a short poem....Now THAT'S a DIY project. Sighhhhhh........Any other un-DIYers out there?
