Hyey Hive! I attempted my first shot at DIY'ing the menu cards - more to have FH decide which paper he wanted & so he could see somewhat of a finished project before he decides. We originally were placing a peacock feather on the satin napkins for each chair - but i figured there will be peacock feathers everywhere once everyone uses their napkins. We have nice menu selection so we decide to go with a menu - I plan on getting the text printing out in Kinko's on the white portion of the paper - HOWEVER PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHICH GLUE TO USE SO THE PAPERS STICK TOGETHER NICELY.

Pardon the uneven cutting & lumps in the paper - as I only had Elmer's glue and an exacto knife. Also placed two samples back to back to show FH so dont mind the feather trimmings sticking out from the back. :)

Let me know! They are 6 x 6 inch cards.

I have a Xyron which works really well.  But the machine costs like $50 or something.

If you go to Michaels or the craft store you can buy double sided tape that comes in an easy dispenser.

Or use Sook Wang tape.  Super cheap I love that stuff.

Forgot to mention a slim ribbon will cover the bottom portion so the glue wont show. It will be similar to the back cardstock color, coopery.

PS If you are planning on doing a ton of these, you might want to invest in a paper trimmer.  You can get one for as little as $20 I think.  Would be easier to use than an Xacto knife.

Or you can get the guy at Kinko's to cut the whole stack of them for you.  That's what I did and saved me so much time!

my mom is a teacher and uses rubber cement on almost all her projects so the glue lays flat and smooth.
