I found pretty organza fabric at the dollar store, its $2 for 3 meters which is AWSOME!
The problem is, it is not finished on the edges. I am not that good at sewing, I can sew but I dont think I could do a nice job on organza.
Are there any other ideas? I a thinking of putting simple ribbon on the edges…are there any other tricks?

Are you on a super strict budget? I think my runners were maybe $5.00 each, so for 50 bucks savings to do 10 tables, whipping out my sewing machine and working on such a finicky fabric wasn’t in the cards.

You could use iron-on hem tape to hem the edges without any sewing.
You could also use fusible web to attach a ribbon to the edge. The raw unfinished edge of the organza would end up on the underside of the ribbon.

Best idea. you can buy new organza table runner with finished wire edges. A lot of supplier provide your needs.
