I did this for my wedding. I did the flowers on a stick.
I bought tons and tons of tissue paper and have tons and tons left and it probably cost me $40. Buy the tissue paper online. Better assortment of color and better price!
This was my mock-up and not exactly what I did for the wedding but you get the idea.

@KLloyd1 your just all kinds of helping me out today!! haha. Where did you buy your paper from??
@MeganTacky2247: hey girl check out some of my diy posts.. im working with tissue poms and paper kasaduma flowers... :D more then happy to help!
I used these two sites I believe...

What colors do you need? If you need purple, raspberry or lime green, I have some I could sell you for cheap!
What do you ladies think is easier to work with... tissue paper or cardstock paper?? hmmmmm
@KLloyd1 How many pieces of tissue would you say you used for your centerpieces?? Like how many for each one?? I know thats probably a ridiculous question... but,... ehh. lol
The big poofs were 8 half sheets. The flowers were 4 sheets but they were much smaller sections. Like 1/8 or 1/16 of a full sheet.
@MeganTacky2247: It looks like you have all the info you need, but I'm doing tissue paper poms for centerpieces like this:

The silver tissue was more expensive because it is pearlized, but the solid colors were between $16 & $23 for 400 sheets. I used 8 1/4-sheets for each bloom.
I got my paper from Papermart. They were quick to deliver and easy to deal with. Let me know if you have any other questions :-)

So, I am looking to make my centerpieces... and I want to use a mason jar and make a pomander paper flower ball to put on top. OR make paper flowers and put stems on them and put those in the mason jar as well...
First off... which one of those should i do??
Second, on average, how much would you say it costs to make the flowers??
Im sure its inexpensive, but just curious. :) Thanks ladies!!!
