I’m back again, with even more of my crazy masterminding.
you girls are keeping my head up amid the frustration and uncertainty.
just wanted to share more of my progress
This flower post is all about my twisted dream to have paper garden roses.
SO HARD. harder than anything else yet. including all of my frustrations with anemone.
so follows attempts one:
Three, which was tiny, and i LOVED, but then a larger attempt went wrong:
ENTER NEW INSPIRATION HERE: I think these are technically called “heirloom roses”. i have no clue. all i know, is that when i stepped back from garden roses and their infuriatingly round and fluffy selves, i made five. which i loved. and then six, which i loved less, but it was just an alteration gone awry. infact, a similar experiment that happened with 2 and 3.
either way, im happy to have made more progress with different shapes and textures,

@futuremrswood25: wow, you are amazing at this!

@nanikoa: thanks. sometimes being the crazy artist type is a blessing. like when you make this happen off one flower tutorial
and sometimes its a curse, like when you decide to make several hundred of these for one day…

@futuremrswood25: They’re all beautiful. I think I’m going to keep your photos for my own inspiration .
Have you thought of making a few outer layers of petals using crepe paper? You can stretch that material out in the center of each petal and you can get the cupped shape of the entire flower.

WOW!! Beautiful!! Can you share the tutorial you used? I’m sick with the thought of spending a fortune on flowers that will just be dead and tossed in the trash by the end of the night. I would love to be able to do this!!

@amethystJCM: I have. I just haven’t gotten my hands on some yet. My biggest concern is with the change in textures of the papers. but I can’t wait to have a go at it.
@jny1179: I will happily share how I do it. It’ll take me a bit to compile photos, but I will post it asap. 🙂 I warn you, its definitely time consuming. And it definitely takes the crafty/artistic type. But its terribly rewarding to create such deceptive masterpieces.

@futuremrswood25: could you please come and make my flowers? Amazing!

@AnaA: hahaha. Considering we are month twins, probably not even if I busted my ass. I’m beginning to wonder how much I might hate flowers after the wedding.
Maybe ill only hate white, blush and lavender flowers. Haha

@futuremrswood25: hehe yey month twins! 😀 I’ve only made my sunglasses’ tags… I feel soooo behind on planning, but my MOH gets married this november so I have to help her and then I’ll be free to start manufacturing lol.

@AnaA: I have soooo much crafting left to do. The scariest project ahead of me is a hand made antique style storybook that we’re using as an all purpose keepsake and guestbook…because I’m dumb and have a very wild imagination. Haha
