We made our own save the dates, invites, programs, menus, drink menus, and all signage but we just printed everything – no cutouts or things.

I really like those towers, they are really cute! How tall are they?

sarahquinn: that is adorable! I have a Silhouette Cameo and I am so amazed with the different projects I can make with it! Here are some that I have been working on:

Butterfly Placecards on wine glass: They will have guests names on them.

Lace circle to put centerpiece on.. the vases looked too empty without it and I totally love the finished look.

Our Save the dates. Everything was printed on regular printer & cut with my silhouette except the magnet. They turned out so awesome.

Our awareness favor cards. Printed with regular printer and cut out with my silhouette cameo. The ribbon itself was cut out of “plantable” paper so the guests can plant their own wildflowers. Used my silhouette to cut this paper too!

My invites are going to be semi-diy and I will only need my silhouette to cut the belly bands because I am getting all of the other cutting and printing done for free from a friend.

sarahquinn: Aww shucks thank you!! I can’t take all the credit though.. I found the idea on pinterest and got my fiance to remake it for me! They are actually our save the dates 🙂 The ticket itself is a magnet for our guests. Here is a mockup of our actual invites. They will be pocketfold invites. We purchased the pocketfold online because I tried making them and they were a huge pain to make. Definately doable with the machine, but too much work for my liking! haha We used our photos for that as well 🙂

sarahquinn: I noticed that you are Canadian too! What area are you from?

Also, just a little tip. If you click the reply button underneath a response you can reply directly to a person. That way they will get a notification that you replied to them. See photo

sarahquinn: Awesome! I am from the West, Edmonton area to be exact. I was the same way as you. We have almost been engaged a year and still have about 8 months left but I pretty much have everything done. It is easier that way! And I haven’t found it the least bit stressful! Good Luck with all of your planning!

sarahquinn: It is pretty awesome!! And omg how annoying is that?! I went dress shopping very early and the lady at davids bridal literally asked me ” uhm so why are you shopping now?”.. who gives a crap why I am shopping now! If I want to buy 3 dresses between now and my wedding what is it to you. lol. I am a serious planner to, I know what I want and I rarely change my mind. lol That is a great strategy to get it all done before you move! One thing I have to do and I have been procrastinating on is finding an officiant. It just doesn’t sound like fun trying to pick someone you don’t even know! lol
