(Closed) DIY photography

No, I haven’t (and won’t be). Those photos will be the thing you look back on for a long time, I think DIYing photography is not advisable, especially because if you are DIYing it, how will you be in the photos?

Have you looked into student photographers? Often their prices are cheaper.

I would consider DIYing a lot (even food, if I was on a serious budget), but I wouldn’t do my own photography unless I had no other choice.

I think it depends on if you have a knack for it or not. I am somewhat of a photography enthusist and have hired a young photagrapher to cover the ceremony and reception..however I am choosing to do all my detail shots. Student photographers and people just breaking into the buisness can be a great value, just make sure you see thier portfolio and love thier work!
