Couple of questions:
1. Where did you get the purple shimmer paper. I am looking for it in gold.
2. How did you print the gold on the back of the shimmer paper?
3. Did you print all of the invitations at home or did you take it to like Kinkos or something
Thanks!
The cardstock is 'Stardream' brand. I actually bought another bride's leftover stash, but you can buy it new in tons of colors at cutcardstock.com, and lots of other websites.
That gold text on the back is a stamp, I got a special stamp pad at Micheals that is for metallic cardstock.
I did all the printing at work and on my FI's work printer, they are pretty typical units. Try it on your own printer before wasting money at Kinkos!
Oh wow, fab job! I love the stardream paper, it makes it really stand out!
Really nice. I'm doing my invitations as well I hope they look as nice as yours. I got my paper at paperandmore.com, the most affordable I could find online.

Finished and sent.
Invite made in Word with some nifty free bird clip art found online. 3M Double stick tape is your friend, forget those stupid glue dots. Map made in power point.
Total cost for 31 invites, rsvp's, maps, and envelopes was $65. Plus I have a ton of the ivory cardstock left to make programs and menu cards. The purple backing stock leftovers made my seating cards.
My favorite project so far!
