That definitely looks like a party to me! I think it's super fun, and I'm getting a bit of a Carnavale or Mardi Gras feel from it. Is that your intention? If so, I kinda want to go to your wedding =)
One suggestion would be to switch out the fluffy (maribou?) feathers at the bottom with something more structured. Feathers and flowers on top and a black satin covered box for the base? Or maybe more peacock feathers. The purple fluffy just seems out of place for the rest of it.
I LOVE it! I think it would be super fun! What is your color scheme for the wedding? Would anything else on the table be colored?
Its peacock theme. Purples and teal! The tables will have dark silver table cloths with teal accents so I wanted to tie the purples into the centerpiece somehow. I was thinking of making the base larger I like the suggestion of the solid color on the bottom.

My wedding is in about 4 months and I love crafting so I wanted to do my centerpieces myself. Yet I'm still not sure if it looks to much like a party and not a wedding style.. any suggestions for diy wedding centerpieces with peacock feathers?
