Oh my gosh, they look so great! I was thinking of doing a couple of these to put on shepherd's hooks at the beginning of the aisle. Was it really easy? How did you get the ribbon through it? Or around it?
I don't want to buy all the stuff and make it look horrible!
It was actually really easy, especially considering I tried the tissue paper ones forever and they never came out right! Honestly I just stuck them in the ball until it looked good, it took maybe ten minutes! And the ribbon is actuallly attached at both the top and the bottom, so it doesn't actually go all the way thru the ball.
Ooooh, that makes sense. Well they look great and they've inspired me to try it out. I may do it soon so I have time to come up with a back-up, just in case.
AWesome!!!! REally, really great....how much would say they cost you?
Wow!!!
They turned out great. You should make a tutorial for those of us that don't know how to do this
Well the breaK down of pricing...
per ball
$2.50 for flowers
$1.83 for ball
$1.00 for ribbon (the spool cost a dollar, so technically this would be less than a quarter...)
Floral wire left over from tissue paper try...
about $5 a ball!
I have to admit, I am usually not a fan of how DIY poms turn out....
...but your look great! Just the right amount of coverage and color.

So I had some leftover stems from the dollar tree, and styro balls, and ribbon....and this is what I came up with! In about ten minutes each ball....they are not glued yet but I think they look pretty cool hanging in my living room! lol. These will be tied to either side of our arch.....let me know what you think :-)
