Hello lovely month twins!
i was wondering if anyone had DIY projects they are working on
this us my (seemingly never ending) project list
picture frame table numbers (painting mint green, trying to ‘vintage’ them up)
Hand made napkin rings (using paper towel rolls cut into 2inch sections, wrapping up with burlap)
guest favours, escort cards, photo guestbook using photobook canada
also looking to make a 6 foot backdrop using PVC pipe and burlap!
what about you guys? the days are slowly dropping off!!

Oh wow I was thinking of doing that same napkin ring project using the paper towel rolls! We ended up doing something different for the napkin rings.
I have a lot of the big DIY items done already so I’m really just working on small details that I have the time to do. I think this weekend I’m going to do some mini chalkboard signs to list the beer and wine selections.
I’ve been on a painting binge recently. I finished these Mr/Mrs signs over the weekend. I’m going to attach ribbon to the back and hang them from our chairs at the reception.
I also just finished this cake topper using some wooden bird ornaments I found at Michael’s.

Edm___JJS: Oh man where do I begin? lol! I had a long enough engagement (almost 2 years) that I made a bunch of stuff in the beginning, then changed my mind, ripped it apart, and remade things 😉 I have a limited amount of pictures here at work, but here goes:
I made all of our favors (hot cider mix with caramels & cinnamon sticks)
I made guestbook pages to have at each place setting for people to fill out, and a mini suitcase for them to put them in.
I made the card box out of a little suitcase as well.
I have all of the centerpiece components ready, but I still have to assemble them.
I have our programs printed, assembled, & boxed. (here’s the cartoon bridal party lol)
I made the Bouts, Ladies’ corsages, and our bouquets from Paper, parchment, and real touch flowers:
I’m going to regret all of this when it’s time to transport it all there 😉

Edm___JJS: I’m waiting on my flowers to come in so I can assemble them (real touch mini calla lilies), I have already painted picture frames but sounds like I need to buy more, I made my card box already, I can’t make my escort cards until the final RSVP’s come in, As soon as I know all the candy we are getting I will make the labels for the candy bar, Our programs need to be printed/folded but I am leaving that up to Fiance (things we have in there keep changing so hes waiting closer to time), He printed off pictures that corresponds with the table number, I finished making cute hangers for my girls (not the wired ones), I’m sure there is more thats I am missing and can’t think of but the countdown on my phone say 2 months, 12 days and counting (September 13th wedding) and I feel like I’m forgetting alot even though I have everything written down!

I just started my first DIY project, yikes! I am making a banner for our card box with burlap and painting the letters gold! I also purchased part of my BM’s gifts yesterday and got a killer deal! I am giving them canvas bags for the day of with their initials on them (I am doing the iron-on paper) and just have to figure out my other gifts!

Edm___JJS: We’re doing a few little things DIY.
My mom is making an arch. It isn’t done yet. Still needs to be stained, but it is coming together nicely.
I made some simple jars for notes/flowers:
A burlap banner (I know, it’s been done, but it was something I could do quick and easy)
And the label for the homemade apple butter (not done yet)
