Here is a good website to look at:

I'm not sure if this would be helpful too.

i've heard that most brides just take one complete invite to the post office and have them weigh it and size it and tell them what the postage will be.
i have RSVP postcards, and i dont know what the weight is, but we had them printed at vistaprint.com and just got their standard postcards.
gl.
Vistaprint postcards are 80lb cardstock. If the postcard within regulation size (4x6), the postal worker told me the postage was $.28, I recall - it's definitely less then regular postage.
Make sure that the postcard fits regulations (for spacing and such). This guide was really handy.

And yes, if you do not know for sure - it does not hurt to go to the post office with a sample. Then you, can go ahead and purchase the specific postage, for which you can put on yourself later as you address them.

Hi Ladies! For those of you who are doing Postcard responses, what weight paper did you use?
Also, I heard somewhere that postage for square invites cost more, since it's harder for the machine to process. Any idea where I can figure that out? I looked on USPS and they just gave me prices for packages.
How much did your invites end up weighing?
Thanks!!
