I have made over 40 pomanders with flowers from SilkFlowerFactory.com and they turned out beautifully! I would reccomend taking a chance on them because you won’t find them cheaper anywhere else.

For the roses – get the velvet open roses. The quality was outstanding, and they were big, full blooms.

You might want to try the velvet roses from efavormart.com.  You can get 84 rose buds for $16.99 or 168 open roses for $34.99.  I have never bought them, so I haven’t seen them in person, but they look relatively realistic to me from the pictures on the website.  They come in lots of colors too, don’t know what your colors are but you might be able to find the color you need there.  Good luck and I hope you find what you are looking for!  And post pics when you finish them, we wanna see!!!  🙂

@Weisgirl10: – I am not sure if you’re interested or not, but I will have 20 ivory pomanders for sale after my wedding which is August 27. I could have them boxed up and ship them to you on the 29th. They’re made with ivory open roses and I used a 5″ styrofoam ball. I made them so that the ribbon I used can be easily changed or removed.

I haven’t figured out how much I am going to charge for them yet, but it will be 25% – 50% less than what I paid for the materials.

If you’re interested, I can send you a picture of them as well as figure out how much each would be.

Dollar Tree!  They have a ton of silk roses bushes, with 7-8 roses per stem.  I got all my supplies there and my pomanders turned out great and still look realistic!
