I do think this wording is pretty informal - are you having a more casual affair?
Also, if you fill in the RSVP number, what happens if only 3 of the 4, or 1 of the 2 invited are able to come?
I had custom invites made on Etsy, so it was kind of DIY as I got to choose the wording, layout and font. We went with the standard:
M________________
(rsvp options)
We have reserved ___ seats in your honor. (we fill in the blank)
___ of ___ will be attending (we fill in 2nd blank)
Here's ours - sorry for the upside-down-ness:

Because of all of the horror stories I've heard regarding RSVP's, I've semi-considered doing something like this, even though it's not really "formal" in any way LOL

I'm doing my own RSVPs, so I can use whatever wording I want. I'm thinking that I can go ahead and put people's name's, etc, in the response but I'm not sure what kind of wording to use. I was thinking something like:
Yes, the _____ of us will be there.
No, we will be unable to come.
And then I can just fill in the number of people. But then where do the names go so I know who it's from? And is this wording to informal? Help!
