So I just started the second big DIY project. Silk flower petal aisle ribbons. Two of them, 1ft wide each and 75ft long! The ceremony is outside at a golf course and I have NO CLUE how long the aisle will end up being so I’m just going to keep them 75ft long and just hack them down if need be when we are decorating.
But seriously, this might take me the rest of my damn life. It’s taking FOREVER!!

MrsGolden2Bee: This is on my to-do list. And everytime I think about it I’m overwhelmed. So I haven’t started.
Good Luck! Keep us posted on how its going!

I started doing this, I got 6 feet done and just didn’t like how they looked. I’ve seen some beautiful ones but mine just wasn’t looking right.

One took 6 hours. It’s 26 feet long for 100 people figured its good enough

Ours will be about 120 people. 50 feet will probably be long enough, but I figure better safe than sorry.
VintageGinger: it’s amazing that that only took 6 hours. I feel like I’ve been at this half my life already, lol. I mean, I like doing it and it’s super pretty but oh my gaaaaaawd.

MrsGolden2Bee: I agree, but I just sat and did it. The first one took longer because I was trying to figure out the best method of attachment. Once I got that down it got better. Had no idea how many petals either lol
