Hi bees – I’ve read a lot of posts about other brides planning on making their own succulent centerpieces, but haven’t seen too many pics of the results. Has anyone done this? If so, can you post pictures? I would like too, but am struggling with whether I want to put several different succulents in one bowl, or if I should stick with the same 3 types of succulents and keep is simple and uniform? Just curious how everyone else’s centerpieces are turning out. I can’t afford flowers and LOVE succulents. Thanks!

I thought it was a cool idea, but decided it was too much work (and was going to end up being as much, if not more) than my floral centerpieces!

I’m kind of thinking this at the moment…a white square pot with echiveria tightly packed inside. And then a few white bowls around the pot with just a single echiveria. Not “floating” since they’re too heavy, but put in a small bowl to give that illusion. Any thoughts on this? The tables are 60″ rounds. Do you think a 7″ square pot with a few bows will be too small or will it be just right?

@redrocksgirl: This should be big enough if you add simple candle votives or tiny vases around the centerpiece. Take a look at this.
