So I posted a week or so ago about my diy shabby chic centerpieces which turned out quite well. Honestly, I was a bit surprised, lol! However, they were only the “short” centerpieces and now these are mockup of the tall centerpieces.
My issue is that I want them to look different but, not disjointed. They should complement each other while keeping in touch with my shabby-chic theme. I’m not sure if the tall one is working! I bought the tall cylinder vases early on in my planning before my full vision had come to be. Now I’m stuck with them.
I think the book pages, which are featured in other ways throughout the wedding decor, do reflect the theme. I’m unsure about any add on. The double tea cup is so cute and I have plenty of them but, I don’t have any other gold in decor. The small silver sugar bowl is more in line with the other centerpieces but, I don’t think I’ll enough of that kind of item. The stacked clear punch cups aren’t bad but, I don’t want it to look to Mad Hatter’s tea party….I’m stuck.
The flowers will be white hydrangea, not green, and I’m thinking of filling the vase 1/3 of the way with maybe an iridescent floral stone just to fill the void and give my floral and branches something to sit on rather than floating in space.
Thoughts? Opions? Thank you!
