So my fiance and I are both major train buffs and we want a train themed wedding. Currently I’m looking for vintage train invitations ideas but I’m not finding too many that I love/will be able to reproduce. If anyone comes across any train invitations can you guys please post pictures or links here? Thanks!

Here is a link to an etsy seller (although their shop is currently closed, reopens august 27th). I think the save the date punch card is a great idea. http://www.etsy.com/transaction/84150031
Something like this could definitely be done with free fonts, flourishes, etc.
Here’s another train ticket invite: http://pinterest.com/pin/175499716699361293/

There are actually quite a few listings on etsy for train ticket wedding invitations! You could also check out the boards for similar posts about plane ticket invitations for ideas on how to actually make/put them together. Do you have any train tickets at home that you could use for inspiration?

Thanks! The ones on etsy are really awesome! I actually work at a steam train and my fiance works for Amtrak so we have lots of train tickets around the house, I’m just not very creative or good at graphic design type stuff….

I’m using a font that looks like the lettering steam trains used (you know, for signs and logos on the side of the train). Its called Railroad Roman 1909 or something similiar- free on DaFont.com
