I just did a small selection of our vases (decorated jars and bottles). I’ve been looking at them for the last 5 minutes wondering if the ribbons should be a bit more matched.. I generally like a bit of visual anarchy, but would like some thoughts from the bee 🙂

I think because the bottles are so different, you should perhaps try to make one element of the ribbons the same. For example, I would do all lace, or if you are doing lace and tulle, stick to one or two colors. I think there is a bit too much visual anarchy going on

It kind of looks like you rifled through your childhood art drawer and the recycle bin for these.

Is this your color palette? Are you having more than one per table? What flowers are you using?

I agree with previous posters. Right now nothing seems to “go.” There should be some unifying something to them, but what that is is up to you. We are doing a mix-and-match set of bud vases on our tables, but about half of them will be painted . . . They will all sit on a white woven round placemat (or something), and are tied together by that. We are doing 7 per table. Will you have these sitting on top of anything?

I agree with PPs–it seems a bit disjointed. Stick with one colour of ribbon, or with one type of ribbon (like all lace, which a PP suggested).
