so im making my own veil- i already got the cut and everything done. i attachd it to the comb.
i got some flat back swarovski crystals from Joanns. they are the hotfix ones- but i attached em with swarovski crystal glue .
*** my only problem is that when they veil folds the back of the crystals shows- which is grey- and it looks like a bunch of grey dots scattered all over. what i did is i glued some crystals on the back of the crystals i already glues on so it it doesnt show the grey back.
is there any other way to do this?
or are there specific crystals you buy for a project like this.

I hand sewed AB beads to mine to eliminate that problem. I’ve heard a lot of girls say that this happens to them. Interesting to see if anyone else has a solution.

I make custom veils…..what you’re using (the flat backs) will be twice the work and twice the expense but there’s really no other way to do it – unless you use crystals or beads like PP said.
Be sure to find JoAnn’s coupons and the expense won’t be as bad.

Girl… Those crystals are expensive at Michael’s!! go to mjtrim.com and buy them in bulk. And like PP said a professionally done veil would have a crystal on each side. GL!

who is PP?? hahah
but hopefully with all the lights and the smoke in the wedding place would hide those irritating things lol
but i did use the 50% off a single item at joaans like 50 times lol everytime i would buy something ide use it. so i got a good deal 🙂

PP is Previous Poster.
I got 1000 bicone ab beads off ebay for $10. Same beads at Michael’s were 100 for $7. Might find a deal there too! 🙂
