I know that what they’re starting with is old fashioned clothes pins.  I am planning to just buy a pack and start practicing!  It shouldn’t be too tough to get the wedding dresses to look decent, just some ribbon wrapped around, pinned and glued, but I have no idea how to make the mini tux…

I DIYed my own caketoppers.  They are inspired by the ones made by ETSY seller GooseGrease.  They sell a DIY kit for cheap.  My wedding set turned out so well I made a set in traditional Korean clothing for my mom and a set of us wearing Detroit Red Wings jerseys for my MIL (DH’s family are huge Red Wings fans).
