DIY wire bridesmaid coat hangers.

@AlmostMrsShield:  Is that just the bottom of the hangers? It took me a while of looking at them to understand what was going on! Yeah, I think maybe a thinner wire might work just a bit better but I’m not a huge DIY person.  Bumping in hopes that you get help! 🙂

AlmostMrsShield:  Try using 12 gauge aluminum wire. I used the wire from Michaels that was in the floral section it worked quite well. The trick is only use the pliers when you absolutely need them like making tight bends with the softer wire. Every time I used the pliers they put kinks in the wires. I also wrapped them with masking tape to help keep it from scratching.

I use 16 guage steel and it seems to work well.
