Any branch with enough diameter would work, right?

Maybe go to a park and cut into a couple fallen branches to see what has the prettiest insides.

Those are so cute! Thanks for sharing!!

I might just “borrow” your idea. It would fit well with our rustic romantic theme.

I doubt it’s illegal in the small quantities you’d need.  Just say you were clearing the trail for hikers.  Not sure where you’re going but whenever I’ve been camping people take the stuff for campfires.  Maybe if you were cutting the branches off the trees that might be a diff story.

Thanks!! I will let you know.

I think if people don’t take them they could look pretty cool in a vas or bowle as a momento after the wedding.

I’m having a rustic wedding and have considered using wood slices for our escort cards (but have decided to use river stones, instead).  You can buy them, pre-cut, online fairly inexpensively.  Just google search something like wood rounds, wood slices, etc.  Here is a website I have checked out in the past.  Good luck!

if you make them yourself be sure to let the wood dry out for a couple of weeks once you’ve cut the rounds, then the stickers will stick much better!
