Are you having like a Renaissance wedding?  The flags are cute.

What are you colors going to be?  Reds and yellows/golds?  I think it’ll look really nice!

Also you posted a picture of your dress with the red heart in the front…are you going to wear sleeves with it to make it more Renaissance-y?  Is your groom going to wear…something like this?  It would be kind of awesome to make it super authentic…!

That is pretty awesome!!!!   I know that women used to just wear their best dress to get married, and that white wasn’t a wedding color until Queen Victoria made it popular…but I wonder what royalty wore to weddings during the Renaissance.  Cause I assume you don’t want to dress up like a peasant on your special day!  Though maybe you do, I’m not judging.  =)

Aww it’s super cute.  Love the cardbox.  We’re going to have a wooden cardbox too if all goes according to plan.  Gonna DIY it up with my FH!  ^_^  I love your theme — so cute!

@angb1230:  Nice!  It looks good stained.  Did you guys get yours at AC Moore?  It looks a lot like the one we’re looking to get.  We haven’t figured out exactly what we’re doing to decorate it yet.  I like the idea of having a little wooden cardbox because you can have it hinged open, people can put cards in, and then later you can empty it and put wedding trinkets inside of it.  =)  Just seems special to me.  Plus, it will be fun working on it with my FH ^_^ he has a wood burning kit too.  So yep!  Who knows what ours will look like but I do like the color yours is stained.

I’ve seen a lot of cardboxes on etsy, that I have really liked, and the people want like $100 for them.  Irks me though because I know, for a fact, that the box only cost the people like $20 to buy.  And some people stain the $20 box, without doing anything else to it, and want big money for it.  Totally better to DIY it up and have the memory AND the extra money hahahaa

Just wanted to add that!  =D
