We haven't booked this guy yet, but I have a good feeling about Spencer Weddings.
@JoJo: We really liked Jason Spencer and heard really great things about him. Unfortunately, he was a few hundred dollars above our budget (I think he quoted more than $1200 for five hours in Santa Cruz).
We're going with Jason Drilling, from JNJ Entertainment, and I'm really excited! He seems to be more into standards as well as eclectic music that'll get people pumped, and he's not into YMCA, the Chicken Dance, or the Macarena. He can be reached at jnjentertainment@comcast.net. He's based in Fresno.

Hi there!
I'm slowing checking things off my to-do list. Venue, caterer, photog, GOWN, florist all checked! I need a DJ and an officiant next. Anyone have any recommendations? From what I've read, it seems like officiants are about $500 (including rehearsal) and $1Kish for a DJ (5 hour reception). Are these figures about right for a San Francisco wedding?
Thanks!
