We used DJ Leanne from Girl on Wax Events. She was fantastic and had every single one of our guests rushing for the dance floor, even the shy retiring types. She was great at switching up the music so there were songs that each generation present could relate to, and overall she's a sweet, genuine person and very pleasant to work with. I would hire her again in a second.
We used DJ Dancing Dave and he did a FANTASTIC job at our wedding. He was extremely professional, inexpensive and friendly. There were some technical issues with his equipment - but that was as a result of the transport to my akward venue (Grouse Mountain..up the freight gondola..).
He played a good mix of music and had my MOM and my aunts dancing (and I have never in my life witnessed ANY Chinese older adult dancing - unless of course it's tango or ballroom and stuff). I would highly recommend Dave :)

Hey bees,
I am looking to see if you recommend any good DJs in/around Vancouver? I have already contacted Hot Wax and Garry Robertson DJ.. If anyone has used them, what did you think?
If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear it. We want a DJ that will make a great party and play awesome music.. But don't need them to dance on the dance floor :P We will probably be using them for both the ceremony and reception.
Thanks!
