No advice, but I just wanted to say that I really wouldn’t let price deter you from getting a DJ in the end. I really regret having an ipod reception, because I think a good DJ would have helped keep the timeline on point & kept the guests a lot more entertained.

See if Rick from Bell Aire Music is available.  We were pleased with him and he was reasonably priced.

I’m using Libbtunes Entertainment. Under $1000 and I have extra hours, outdoor for the ceremony AND an upgraded sound system

We are going with Rick Bellanti of Bell-Aire Music Productions, he has great reviews online, seemed very knowledgeable and organized at our meeting and his website says he works with you on price. Which is great for us DIY brides, he came in at under $1000 for our 6 hour wedding.

FYI what a great date you picked 12/13/14  🙂

That is an awesome date! My friend got married on 11/11/11 but it was a Friday.  That’s awesome that 12/13/14 is on a Saturday!

I went with Shane and Paul from DJ MaShane for my wedding DJ after being at two weddings they DJ’ed and it was an great party!  I booked them for my wedding and their prices were awesome. Everyone danced all night and had a great time.

They under charge for their services both my friends and I feel. My entire package with an outdoor ceremony, indoor cocktail/reception, uplights and dance floor lighting was only $1400.  My friends didn’t get the uplighting and didn’t need the DJ for the ceremony and there price was only $1100.  Can’t beat it for a DJ that has 5 stars on wedding wire.

If you talk to them tell them Rachel sent you! http://www.djmashane.com

@mlee2585:

Mike Tarrara at “Music Matters”, not only a DJ, but also a performer so maybe could play guitar or something? Not sure what services he offers or price but I hear he is pretty darn good. Good Luck!
