Have you looked at Craiglist? I know it sounds wonky but I found a videohrapher there.
I'm getting married near there this summer. We were considering Taylored Entertainment (they are out of Escanaba), but our wedding date wasn't available. The person we talked to was really nice and very helpful in finding another dj.
Just a note about Taylored entertainment. We had looked into them and asked around with other DJ's. My FI has a friend who works sometimes in the DJ business and we heard some shady things about Taylored. The prices he asks for are quite high for that area and he apparently went to other DJ's to have them ask for the same high rate. Because of that, DJ's will cost a few grand in that area. I've heard good things about him as far as being a DJ but I don't like the idea of shady business. Just a heads up!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
My fiance and I had at first thought about doing the music ourselves... then after talking with others and realizing the amount of time it would take, we decided to use a DJ. So now I'm trying to do some DJ research. Our reception will be in Escanaba, MI- er well, technically Gladstone (Terrace Bay). Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions? If you were married in that area who did you use? Or if you are getting married in that area who are you using?
Thanks everyone!
