Do we invite our DJ to the rehearsal dinner and rehearsal? He will be playing music at the ceremony location and the reception. I’m now thinking that I might need to have him there to run through timing, but I am not sure. Help!

I suppose you could invite him to the rehearsal itself if you’re concerned about timing–but be aware that he might charge you more for his time. I wouldn’t invite him to the rehearsal dinner.
I’ve been to many rehearsals/rehearsal dinners but none of them had the DJ present.
Remember, these guys and gals are (presumably) pros. Yours isn’t their first wedding. If you tell them what songs you want and when, they should be able to work it without the rehearsal. Rehearsals are meant more for the bridal party–many of whom may never have been in a wedding before.

It’s not necessary we are not inviting our DJ and he is also doing our ceremony and reception music. Our officiant is going to run through the ceremony timing with him on the day of. Plus I’m sure he would know how the timing works since he did the same thing for my Future Sister-In-Law wedding in 2011.
