We had DJ Mark from Mark Anthony Productions and I would highly recommend him. He met with us for like 3 hours a couple days before the wedding to get a feel for what we wanted. He was very professional, kept an eye on how the party was going and how people were responding and really helped everyone have a good time. We had a ton of compliments on the music and he was very frienldy and great to work with.

We have a bit different tastes and he helped get us a good line up of danceable songs without it being top 40. We did a couple things like the father daughter dance and mother son dance, but he really didn't care that we left the typical things out and was very flexible on time line as well.
Definitely Colorblind Productions. www.colorblindprd.com. They were awesome at my wedding and have done my sister and many of my other friend's weddings.

Can anyone recommend a DJ in the northern NJ area? I really don't want the typical cheesy wedding DJ. We don't want to do the garter, throw the bouquet or walk through a tower of our wedding party. I just want good music with little interruptions from the DJ.
