p.s FH and I battled wether it should be an exlamation mark after DJ or question mark.. I had the question mark battle.. But I let FH win this round...
I just wanted them off my desk!
I gave up on the turntable graphic.. it was appearing way too large on the card I had (it wouldve worked if I had got new card and didnt have to resize it) and we couldnt read the writing in the middle.. So after a few swear words I gave it in and went Im not spending more time on this that ive had to.
Ive DIYd myself out this week realising that Ive got 194 days and a lot on my plate that I need to complete, plus my brothers wedding is on saturday, and I needed to have the study clean because Ive got my cousin staying in the room on a roll out so all DIY projects need to be put away :( till next monday tho :P
That's such a cute idea! I love it! I'm starting to go nuts at the list of things that I need to do and want to do. Something is going to have to give, but I don't know what. =)
I haven't seen these at weddings, but they are cute. Are they necessary/will they get used?
there not necessary, but I will think they get used. Our guests love music.. so its pretty much a given. If they do not get used. I havent really lost any money on it or much time.
Same as a few things on my DIY list.. may not be really necessary, but its a nice touch :)
I think this is great. Fi and I have a DJ business and no one has ever made cards to put on tables for us, which would actually make our job easier as people tend to see one person who got the nerve to come up and request a song and are like "Well Aunt Sally done it, I can too" so then we're bombarded with about 10 ppl trying to talk all at once right at our speakers. Horrible because most of the time I'm behind the boothe as he works the crowd and I can't look up songs fast enough, and even though I try to write them down it's hard to. Good news My memory which was top notch to begin with, is getting even better. I love this. Thank you from all djs!
Very nice. I haven't started mine yet. I am going to include them in with the invitations to be returned with the RSVP.

I was inspired to create some DJ request cards for our reception.
1hr and half and 150 of them later another diy done! WOOT
I used blank cards I had from cardmaking days so it the whole project. Zero dollars.
I wanted cheery and simple since they are not going to be in a prominant spot. They will sit next to the wishing/mazanita tree.
