My friends just got married this weekend and had DJ Spyderman - lame name but he did a great job. He even kept the caterers in line when they were running behind schedule. I don't know his pricing, but their wedding was not big budget. Here is the website:

PJ the DJ, Spike Real and DJ Master Gee....
We ended up going with Master Gee as the first two were alread booked for our date! http://www.entertainmentunlimited.com they are all on there and some others! If you call they can give you the names of ones in X amount of a budget and you can see their samples on their site! They were very helpful!
FYI- Master Gee - he's like $950 for 5 hours but I know they had other cheaper ones!
Just an update: We ended up going with Andy Booth... a few folks had recommended him, he had great references, and when we met him in person we really liked his personality, style, and background (not to mention his reasonable prices!). If anyone else is interested: http://www.ajbooth.com/.
Oh, and thanks to everyone for their suggestions - I checked them all out!

Hi ladies! Any suggestions on DJ's in the area that aren't cheesy and are reasonably priced (less than $1000)? Thanks!
