We used Marcus Hook Florist. My flowers were gorgeous and I can't imagine a florist that would be more reasonably priced. They book fast though, so if you know what you want, I'd set up a meeting and book them ASAP. For DJ's, we used Michael Kane at Silver Sound. He was awesome and we used him for ceremony music and reception.

Good Luck!

We loved our florist and he was very reasonably priced: Russell Anthony 215-676-0707 or russellanthonyflorist@yahoo.com
@RayRayFurious: We're gettin married at the Morris Arboretum in Chestnut Hill!
We're probably going to book Michael Kane. We live in TX and won't be able to meet him first, but he has so many good reviews on the Bee that I'm a little less nervous.
The florist we're working on a proposal with right now is Flowers by Mary Elizabeth. I feel like she really "gets" the look we're going for and has been really budget conscious.
Our florist is An Enchanted Florist http://www.enchantedfloristskippackevents.com/. Jill does a fantastic job and her prices were FAR lower than anyone else I met with.
Our DJ is Chris Romanelli from Schaffer Sound. www.schaffersound.com. They have great reviews and their prices were the cheapest I found. $850 for 5 1/2 hours.
Hope this helps!

Hello Bees!
We recently booked our venue (yay!) and now we are on the look out for affordable (read cheap, but quality work) DJs and florists and ceremony musicians in the Phialdelphia, South Jersey, Delware areas. We have a tight budget but of course we still want quality sound and pretty flowers. I am not a flower girl meaning I can distinguish roses from tulips but I know I am looking for simple/romantic arrangements- we're getting married in a garden/arboretum so we don't need much floral decor.
As for a DJ, we want someone who can do minimal emceeing but not someone who totally controls the flow of the party, and who will allow us to really customize the playlist.
Ceremony music is something we haven't totally discussed. We initially thought about having a friend/family member provide music. Has anyone done this? Would it be rude to ask them miss out on ceremony by putting them to work?
As far as pricing, I don't even know the average costs for entertainment? If anyone could point us in the right direction that would be awesome.
Thanks!
