I’m not planning on using espresso cups as favours but have received them at weddings before.  I’ve gotten them in the box just wrapped in wrapping paper with a ribbon around it.  I didn’t know what it was until I got home and unwrapped the favour/gift.  Hope that helps!

There was a gift table next to the money/envelope box with the gifts and one of the bridal party members were handing them out as we were going thru the receiving line to congratulate the bride/groom at the reception.

Unfortunately, I have not used them.  I ended up donating them.  Its not that I didn’t like them but the colours didn’t go with anything I had and the set was only for two and I like to have a big matching set for when we have guests etc.

I am running into the same problem but in a different style.  We are having a sake toast and plan on giving the cups and bottles as favors (1 bottle, 2 cups per couple).  I figure, if nothing else our guests may use the sake bottle as a bud vase.
