it depends. i had the same dilemma. in life, i never wear earrings, but i ALWAYS wear a necklace! when my seamstress & i were scheming to add more detail to my dress, she ended up adding lace around the neckline of the dress, which would have made wearing the necklace i had planned to wear unnecessary. i had bought a cluster-type necklace like this:

i had also decided in the end to wear my hair up, so i needed earrings. so my seamstress came up with the clever idea of using the necklace as a bracelet (it just so happened that i could wrap it around my wrist and hook it w/out being too tight or loose), and because i felt super naked w/out wearing a necklace, i got this super super thin gold chain necklace with little round crystals on it that went all the way around, and then i borrowed a pair of gold earings that were just simple, one strand heavy chain earrings. nothing matched, but it all looked great together:

all this is to say that you can wear all three, and they certainly don't need to match, but there just needs to be balance among them, and collectively, they can't all detract from your beautiful face or your dress. so if you wanted to do the earrings and the bracelet, i would say skip the necklace, OR get pearl earring with some tiny sparkly accents, and then get a "barely there" kinda necklace on a thin chain with either one small pearl & a little bling, or a thin chain that has some very small pearl and/or sparkly accents all around it.
I think it will be fine.
Here's the jewelry I wore on my wedding day:
My rings, of course.
My late grandmother's ring as my "something old"

Earrings:

Bracelet:

And my mom's pearl necklace, my "something borrowed" (no pic, but it's a standard strand of pearls).
I don't think all the pieces have to match like a set does, but I think they need to be similar in style. I think a diamond tennis bracelet would look really nice with pearls, they're both kind of classic pieces of jewelry.

Hello! I'm trying to decide what jewelry to wear for the wedding. I wanted to get some teardrop pearl earrings, maybe borrow them, and maybe wear a pearl necklace, or skip the necklace. But for my bracelet, I wanted to wear a diamond tennis bracelet my mother gave me. I feel like diamonds and pearls complement each other well, but with two pieces of pearl jewelry, a diamond bracelet may not fit. Should I just wear the pearl earrings and the bracelet, and skip the necklace?
