I have a Tacori e-ring (my dream ring) and I've always wanted a "set." I was wondering what the bees with Tacoris decided to do for their wedding bands.
I'm still waiting on my Tacori to come in (should be this month!!). FH and I are planning to get Tiffany bands - he wants a plain platinum one and I want a plain rose gold one that fits nicely against the e-ring. it all works better for our budget than the 'suggested' eternity band from Tacori, and he said he wanted a Tiffany ring, so why not. I like the idea that our wedding bands will come from the same place.
@confettiegg2000: Yay! That will be neat that yours came from the same place. Yea, I won't be getting the eternity band that matches mine for sure and the half-eternity is still expensive but I'm hoping for that one. I'm trying to check out all the options.
I got the thinnest half-eternity Tacori band to match my ring. DH said that if I had to send in my rings to get resized, it would be annoying to send my e-ring back to Tacori and then get my wedding band sized separately. He also loves the detailing on my e-ring which the band mimics, so we went for it. I do get that its a big investment tho!

I think tacori rings are gorgeous!! Like any female I sure enough oogled over them. However, I think they are a bit expensive and if you can afford it great. I thought it be better to use the money toward a nicer center stone or a wedding band. Any good, reputable jeweler can recreate a tacori setting to your liking too.
@Ginger123: I have seen your rings around and I love them! They do mimic each other. :) That's the thing I love is the details and I'm worried a jeweler won't be able to "copy" them.
@MASPA: I totally understand what you mean. My e-ring and band will be pave set and I've heard a lot about them falling out. But I've had such great luck with this one I'm afraid a jeweler won't make the same quality. It's probably silly but I am OCD about things matching.
I have a Tacori ering back still am unsure about what to do for wedding bands. The matching pave is nice but at $1,800- it aint that special! I have a 2620 so trying to find something to go with it shouldnt be too difficult but I havent found it yet, oh well- another thing to obsess about!
I have a Tacori e-ring and I'm not sure what I will end up getting for a band. I love the one that "goes" with my engagement ring but it's an eternity and I want a 1/2 eternity so I can size it if I need to... I guess when the time comes I'll just pick what I like best on.
@sassypants: I hear ya! I am currently obsessing about it now. :)
@bas0587: They will make the eternity into a 1/2 if you want. That is what I'm going to do.
I went custom. I originally was set on the Tacori band and actually asked to see 3 or 4 different ones they also said would match but I really disliked the look. I didn't like how thin and small the band was in comparison and i didnt like how the diamonds were set so I decided to increase the size of the diamonds in the band and created my own band with my jeweler using my own height and width specifications. Even my jeweler, a Tacori vendor, told me that he preferred it to the suggested matching band. However, my ring doesn't have the pave shanks and is smoothe. My jeweler and I agreed that if I had the pave shanks I would have gone with the matching so that the diamond shanks match the band perfectly.
@Aug2011Bride: May I see a picture of your rings together? Since mine does have the side details, I'm worried about matching.
I have the same question! I love my tacori but the suggested band , I am pretty sure, is their most expensive. I was also thinking of having black diamonds instead of the norm. So I am not quite sure.. Maybe for a future anniversary FI will get me the matching band.. right now... i don't think it is going to happen.
I went for the matching band. I have a 2628 with sapphire side stones and pave half way down the band and selected the 2630bmd half eternity ring so that I can size it later on if I need to. I really liked how the pave on the band matches the pave on my e-ring.
@MrsNeutrino: mm yes, I drooled over your ring not long ago.:) I didn't realize it had a "matching" band.
@918Lux: That's what I'm worried about - matching paves. I have tried some others on and they were all too tall/didn't match or something was off.
No problem! I also have pictures with the Tacori bands I tried too. I'm on my phone and will post when I get home.
@MrsCoachBtoBee: :-D !! You know, I just hate the thought of all of the fancy tacori-ness being blocked by a plain band. Not that it won't look beautiful.. I just think the craftmanship on their rings are so outstanding that it irks me to put a plain band in front of it to block the face. Maybe ill check out tacori for QVC :-p. AND YES, they have a stunning matching eternity band!
@Aug2011Bride: yay! thanks!
@MrsNeutrino: I hear ya! It's gorgeous from every angle and I want to see it not cover it up. Do they have your matching one on QVC? I checked for mine but it's not very popular.
@MrsCoachBtoBee: i just checked.. they actually have no eternity bands by tacori on the qvc website.. sucks
Because I got the e-ring I wanted, I deferred to my soon-to-be for our wedding bands. Never was a big fan of matching sets, but he got us a great pair of tungsten rings from Tungsten World. So, I have my dream ring and then tough ring for everyday wear.
Sorry these are so huge!
Here is a picture of my set:

This was what the matching band was for my ring looked like. It's the same band that is recommended for the 2620. When I put it on I just felt it was too thin and didn't have the look I wanted.

@MrsCoachBtoBee: Really? For an extra charge?
@bas0587: I think it ended up being less. When I was shopping for eternity bands with Tacori, I was going to get a 2/3 or 3/4 eternity and it was about two or three hundred less than the full. Depends on the metal type and what width of the band.
@bas0587: They're usually less becuase there's less diamonds. :) They can also make them wider/less wide if you want. They're pretty flexible on that stuff I think.
@Aug2011Bride: Thank you for posting! I like both. :) Is your e-ring 2mm? What about the band?
@MrsCoachBtoBee: My e-ring is 1.7-1.8mm, spacer is 1mm and the band is 2mm. I love that I can wear it alone when I don't feel like wearing my e-ring! The tacori band didn't have the same look when alone to me? I'm not sure why. I think I'm just fussy maybe?
@Aug2011Bride: Not fussy at all! I didn't like a thinner band with mine either.
@Lillindy: Yes, I've seen yours and they're awesome! I bet there really wasn't much else that matched yours, was there?
They do have some sterling/CZ costume Tacori jewelry on Overstock.com if anyone wants to play around with different looks.

Interesting discussion! I have a Tacori engagement ring (LOVE IT), but the matching band is $2,200 & I think that's ridiculous. I am thinking we will either get a really simple band (it's all about the e-ring, anyway, really), or skip the band & wait until our first anniversary to get a fancier band or something...
@Ginger123: I've seen those. They used to have real Tacori too but it disappeared somewhere.
@Ms Bookworm: Good plan! May I see your ring? :)
I got the "matching" wedding band, but I have a simpler Tacori than a lot of what's out there. It was still definitely pricier than similar bands, but there's side details that I love that I really wanted to match.

Um, yeah guess what I want for a big anniversary?

Luckily for DH, there is a "cheaper" one I would "settle" for.

Kidding.
Actually, I was thinking about getting a sapphire band to stack with my set. This one is white gold (and my set is platinum), but it might be fun to play around with:

@SapphireSun: Yours is gorgeous! Mine is one of the simpler ones also but the side details are still great.
@Ginger123: haha your lucky DH! :) Love your set btw.
I just received my matching Tacori band today!! I love that all of the designs match my e-ring, a little disappointed on how thin and fragile the band is but non the less BEAUTIFUL. I strongly suggest that if your Tacori e-ring has plenty of beautiful detail on it, you should go with the matching band :)
@MrsCoachBtoBee: But of course!
I have had the hardest time getting good pictures of my ring... They usually end up really blurry! I feel like photos really don't do Tacori rings justice. They're so intricate & beautiful in person.
All of your rings are gorgeous, too!
(Sorry these pics are so big... Yikes!)
