Or do they just look nice?
I need to send out invites like, yesterday, and I’m still trying to figure out what to do!
I am ordering a 5×7 invite and matting it and an RSVP postcard. I would like to order a tiny business card that says for maps and accommodations, please visit http://www.krexgetsmarried.com. The whole thing would be wrapped up in a lacy belly band.
I can’t think of a way to wrap this up in the belly band without the tiny business card falling out! It seems even if I center it perfectly, in mailing it will slip to the bottom of the envelope and just be floating around.
Any ideas or suggestions? I’m open to anything at this point! Thanks bees!

Don’t center the business card. Put it at the bottom of the envelope (still in the belly band). On a sidenote, why do your invites need to be out already? I think sending them by mid-August would be good! I think 2 months before is the norm.

@asagirl: for ordering from a designer, sending to a printer, and then doing all the assembly, i need them ordered so soon so i can get everything done!

@krex: We have an invitation, RSVP card, and envelope. We ordered a vellum belly band to go with it and it doesn’t REALLY hold everything together as much as I hoped it would. If you hold it upright everything kind of falls to the bottom.

One thing you could do instead is tie twine or a small ribbon around the two cards instead of the belly band, and tie the business card on the ribbon.

We used bakers twine….it lookes great and was really cheap & easy.
