It does still happen but some photogs may not stay late enough to see it.

Yes, definitely. I’ve never been to a wedding that didn’t have a bouquet toss! Usually it’s later in the night, so the professional photographer is gone by the time it happens, maybe that’s why you haven’t seen pictures.

I won’t have any single ladies at our wedding so it would be pointless but for whatever odd reason, FI is saying I have to. It’s like…no! That doesn’t even make sense! &He wants to do the garter toss and I think that is a)SUPER trashy and b)pointless because we only will have one, MAYBE two single guys at the wedding. It is just so icky.

I will have a brooch bouquet too so I would have to make an entire new bouquet just for the toss? I don’t think so.

ok, sorry my single photos won’t post from my iPad…but the one on the right above is from my bouquet toss.

I didn’t for a couple reasons. 1) not enough single ladies & 2) my bouquet cost $170 and I’m going to keep it since it’s a handmade vintage fabric flower bouquet.

I’ve not seen it a wedding that I’ve been to. I didn’t do it also because there weren’t enough singles and because I didn’t want to throw my bouquet and I then had it put on my grandad’s grave.

@cmoest:  yes! I had a toss bouquet made so mine didnt get tossed around. My bouquet toss was epic, 2 girls fell fighting over it, my dhs grandma jumped in! Here’s a pic of our album page with garter n bouquet toss 🙂

@CatyLady:  That is so sweet, I never would have thought of doing something like that.

@CatyLady:  Oh that is really sweet. I’ve never heard of something like that. Maybe I’ll do that with mine on Mom’s grave.

@cmoest:  I’m not throwing my actual bouquet, but a toss one that I had made. There are a ton of single woman coming to the wedding, so we’re going to do it!

@taylorkirby: & @MexiPino: Thanks. He helped bring me up and if he was still here I would have wanted him to give me away

Of the weddings I’ve attended recently, I do not remember a bouquet being thrown. Maybe it isn’t done as much any more, or maybe they didn’t make a big deal of it at those weddings. I don’t plan to throw one.

Yes! It’s been done at every wedding I’ve been to, but ususally with a toss bouquet.

I bet brides don’t post pictures cuz they get snapped with their arms up in the air and the don’t want to show everyone their armpits. Undecided
