I've never seen bridesmaid wear corsages. EVER. I think it would look a little prom like and odd, especially if they are already carrying bouquets.
No corsages! They're itchy. My mom and grandma don't want to wear them either and we're going with either bouquets or bouts for them.
Well the bridesmaids are carrying clutches instead of a bouquets so it wouldn't look so over the top- I'm just not into them wearing corsages but I'm getting pressure about it being inappropriate if they don't....
I've heard of "ring corsages" that they do now which looks like of cute and different. Maybe a little less itchy?
I also have not seen a corsage. Personally I never liked a corsage when even in high school for proms or dances. It got in my hair. I wore them on the wrist if I had to even have one.
Having been bride AND bridesmaid (many times a bridesmaid) I can tell you, that a nice lovely bouquet which is light is preferable!
I've never seen a BM wear a corsage, only moms and grandmoms. BMs usually have bouquets. Is it that your mom feels you NEED flowers? If you don't want flowers, don't have them. If you want to compromise with your mom maybe your BMs could wear flowers in their hair. Or maybe the clutches could somehow be decorated with flowers. Images of both can be found near the bottom of this page:

It also shows BMs with corsages.
I like the wrist corsage's that I've made and been seeing alot of that are on like a satin ribbon. I think they're coming back! :)
Corsages are not as main stream as bouquets or pomanders or something similar- also the dress is the thing - check these stunning frocks out- no need to accessorize a fabulous dress

Just curious......I'm still getting wrist corsages for the Mothers and Grandmothers- But do bridesmaids still wear corsages or is that out of style now? My mother is all about the girls wearing them...
