mendoliac:  There are many shades called ivory and many shades called champagne. You need to see them side by side to see what works and what doesn’t.

Zappos has free shipping and return, so order away and return what doesn’t work.

mendoliac:  do you have a DSW store in your area? If you do, they will accept returns at the store for online purchases . . . then you could see how it looks with your dress

ETA: just read that you won’t have your dress for a while – maybe you could go to the bridal store and compare shoes with their sample?

mendoliac:  It might look weird to have a satin dress and satin shoes with a different sheen or something like that, but your dress looks to be lace with an overlay, so I think champagne satin shoes would be fine with it.

I did this and it looked great! Looking for a good pic to send you…. I never specified a shoe shot so I’m tryng to find one where it’s peaking out from under the dress.
