I suck at haggling so I don’t really have advice for that. I mean, I guess if you have nothing to lose, you could mention it? The worst thing she can say is no.

Are you apprehensive about planner #1 because you didn’t get a good vibe from her, but going by her reputation alone? I didn’t click with my planner at first because our contact was limited to phone and email, but when I met her in person last week, she was absolutely wonderful.

Have you compared their portfolios too? That’s how I finally settled on my planner, and I talked to about a dozen.
