@anchovies: Yep, it is a Friday, but over here our weekends are Friday/Saturday, so it's a popular day.
@daydream: Happy Birthday! FI's is on March 14th!
@ebs: Actually, I admitted to the FIANCE (hehehe) that I'm actually already looking forward to the day after it's over. The timeline has me a bit edgy.
We also have to plan an engagement party for next Friday. We actually haven't told any friends or extended family yet. Have to wait for the formal engagement process (his family meets with my family). So the 'bee is a great outlet as some of my BEST FRIENDS still don't know.
Another sucky thing I totally forgot about...my best friends. They all live in the States. And my sisters live in London. So I'll be pretty much flying solo on the planning thing.
Oh, and another thing...we'll be planning a second reception in CA for our friends/family out there, aiming for May. And I'll be doing it blind from here! Hahahahaha. Are we CRAZY!?

Oh, and one thing I've learned already. DON'T READ BRIDAL MAGAZINES! Just look at the pretty pictures. Because the last thing I want to see right now is the 12 month timeline for perfect skin, or the 6 month reminder to do your hair trial. ACK!
We planned our wedding without ever going to the place we were having it until the day before. All I can say is, thank heavens for the Internet! Not only can you locate vendors using it, but you can typically find someone from the local area on a message board, so you can have some idea what a place is like before you show up for the party.
2dbride: Thanks for the support!! That's exactly what I'm hoping for...lots of pretty internet pictures and a few expensive phone calls.

I don't know if posting here will freak me out or not...just skimming the titles is stressful to see how far along I "should" be! Got engaged 3 days ago and we're shooting for March 26th. No, we have no venue, no invites, no dress, no honeymoon, no place to live. The fun begins TODAY.
