So I wanted to take a little mental break at work today and decided to make a list of all the bridal salons I have been to already…and counted TWELVE! Do I have a problem?!
I have appointments for 7 more places and then have committed that by the end of these appts I will pick a dress.
When I put it on paper, 19 visits seems crazy to me!!! And I am not a girl with a lot of time! I have a full-time career, am in grad school, have a house, a dog, and fiance!!
Am I officially obsessed? I’ve found dresses I like but none I LOVE. If I don’t find anything I like better, I am going to buy the Lazaro 3018.

I think you have plenty of time to buy your dress and that is why you have gone to so many salons. Don’t stress over it! Take your time and give yourself a deadline to buy the dress. Try to narrow down your style and don’t go to too many more-you are just going to overwhelm yourself! Good luck!

Sounds like you are really enjoying the dress buying experience and don’t want it to end. Like, how can you assume you will be going to 7 more bridal salons and that you won’t find the one you love at the next one. This could be a problem if you start forgetting the show stoppers because you are anxious to go to another store. Good luck!

I wish I could go to that many places! I just hate going alone and everybody else is crazy busy right now. Lucky for me it seems I already found me dress.

No you don’t have a problem, you just haven’t found the one yet.

I also went to many bridal salons (some in different countries). I LOVED the dress experience. I loved trying on different styles and seeing what looked best on my body. I found many dresses I liked and many that were awful on me. At the end I picked about 10 favorites and revisited them with my mom. We picked “the one” and bought it a few days later. I didn’t have a “moment” with this dress, but it had everythign I wanted.
If you’re visiting all these stores because you love the dress experience, I think that is fine. You will eventually be buying one of the dresses, so I don’t see why you shouldn’t explore all your options.

If you are able to find the time to go to the stores and haven’t found any that you are sure about, keep going. But once you make a purchase, don’t keep looking.

I don’t think you have a problem, you’re just having fun! And luckily you have time to have fun and enjoy the experience. My only advice would be that if you find a dress you love, stop. Don’t keep looking because everything might start to blur together. Don’t feel like you’re obligated to go to all 19 salons.

I say you are doing it exactly right. You don’t want to buy something and then wonder well what if I had gone to XXXX shop and looked.
BTW I tried on well over 100 dresses before I found mine.
