My wedding colors are red, silver and white. However, my shoes are dark blue (my something blue) and I just saw this BEAUTIFUL hairstyle that I want to replicate; pale pink rose and all. Is this acceptable, or should I have a red/white rose instead?

That’s so feminine and romantic! Does it match your dress? Do you think it goes with your flowers?
Notice that there are other parts to the photo that are influencing how gorgeous that hairpiece looks… like the groom’s suit colors and the boutennaire and the silvery/pink textured background.
I wonder what teh headpiece would look like if the other elements of the photo were changed?

I know it would look amazing with my dress, but thank you for pointing out my flowers! They’re varying shades of dark red and burgundy, so I actually think a slightly pinker rose would look nice? And I covered his face up and it still looks lovely 🙂 I’m such a hopeless romantic! I have lace that I can diy into a headband, and I can mimic the style of the hair (her color is similar to mine too).
But would a white rose be too much white? (with the white lace and veil) And a red rose be too ‘BAM’? I’m just in love with the femininity <3

I think it should be fine! What kind of bouquet will you be holding?

@kperry3: A dark red/burgundy peony and rose bouquet. It will be small and round 🙂 Because the reds are darker I think a light pink might look nice, especially since I have navy shoes too and it might keep it from looking too fourth of july (eek!)
