NO!!!, you don’t have to invite her. 🙂

And if you feel the need to help this family out financially in the future, maybe grocery store gift cards instead of cash. Or even purchasing specific items- “What do you need? I can buy about $XX worth of groceries for you.” If she truly needs the money for that purpose, she’ll take you up on it.

@MrsRevolutionize:  NO she is not invited and “M” needs to be made aware of this.

Tell her that she is not welcomed by you, your Fi, no your parents AND you wish she would not talk about the wedding to her whatsoever.

If she does call you say “the guest list has been decided and I can not make changes”

If she threatnes to show up, have a hostess at the door with a list of who is invited.

don’t feel like you ‘have’ to invite anyone. invite whoever you want.
