We are not doing a garter toss either so I probably won’t buy one. I don’t want to spend the extra money if I don’t need to. Are you worried that your guest will see that you don’t have a garter on? It’s your wedding! You can do whatever you want 🙂

I don’t think you need one! If you’d like one (kinda fun to have for the wedding night and I also had my preserved along with my dress which looked neat to add some color to the box) you can find inexpensive ones online, beautiful ones on etsy, or you can DIY them.

We are not doing a garter toss but I am wearing one for pictures… and it has a little pocket for my “penny”

I don’t think it would be a problem to NOT have one if you don’t want one.

admittedly, we were wavering between doing it and not doing it and decided TO do it because we have so many nutty friends that would really enjoy it.

And yeah, I can see the problems of wearing one and not doing the toss if you are wearing a dress with a slit that would reveal it.

I think it would actually be a little….too much?…..to have a garter showing through a slit in your reception dress. It’s a little on the too sexy side, I think. So, i’d just skip it!

We’re not doing a garter toss but I have a garter because I’m using my great-grandmother’s because it’s old and blue!
