Do I need a petticoat with this dress…?

    If you like the fullness of the bottom and don’t want to wear a petticoat, ask alterations about adding tulle to the bottom, they should be able to do that. If you just don’t like seeing your belly button, try on your dress with a basic slip.

    If I’m being honest, I think it does look better with the petticoat! But, I wore a ball gown with a hoop skirt so it’s possible I’m just biased towards poofy dresses 🙂

    You need to bear in mind that if you have to put it on over your head it might mess uour hair up

    hmm..well i voted no before I saw your actual pics. It does look a little better I think with it only because it shows the dress’ design/structure more. but I really like it both ways. 

    So, to answer your you don’t NEED it, yes, you can do without it as well. So it’s all up to you on how you want it. 

    What about wearing it for the ceremony and pictures then take it off for the reception?
