We have guests coming from out of state and out of country, and we are not doing them. Most guests are not familiar with them, and they are an added expese that we just don't want to pay. We would rather put the money toward food, drink, music, and the photographer to capture the day. In my ipinion, they would be a nice "extra", but I wouldn't go out of my way to make them for your guests. You will just be creating more work for yourself. You will have to purchase the items, put the bags together, and then deliver them to wherever they are staying.
Totally not necessary. OOT bags are normally provided, if at all, to people who come from some distance out of town. They often include a token beverage, snack and maps or information about the area- designed to help guests find their way around.
If these guests stay overnight at the hotel after the wedding, they really don't need any of these things.

Hello hive,
I've reserved a block of rooms for wedding guests to book if they choose to stay after the wedding. Really, guests will be staying more as a way to drink and have a place to crash... they aren't coming from dif. states or countries, just literally OOT some ways down the highway. Do I have to put anything in their rooms, and if so, what do you suggest? Maybe just a little something?
Thanks!
