My August wedding has now been shifted to October due to unfortunate circumstances – I am really kind of bummed because I had arranged and planned everything given late hot summer and wanted a cool dreamy feel to it. We were having high tea with a lemonade stand – well no need for the lemonade stand in October so looking to replace that detail. However I am wondering if I need to warm up my original colors
So here is my original styleboard . . .
and I thought I could incorporate some mercury glass pumpkins
but I love my cake topper and do not want to change it which means I have to incorporate pink
So what are some ideas you have for making this more fallish or should I pretty much leave it?

Just because your wedding is in October doesn’t mean you have to use fall colors. I got married in November and our colors were grass green, chocolate brown and white. I think the colors you have already are just fine!

I voted “no, it is fine the way it is” but actually I think it is gorgeous the way it is! I like those mercury glass pumpkins a lot, but I think you should only use them if they go with your style and if you like them a lot – I don’t think you necessarily need them!

Thank you for the compliment – originally I was going to have a fan in every chair for decoration – we had ivory chairs with gold pads and the fan but if it is going to be in the 70’s will that seem weird or stupid
Here is the ceremony location
We were not doing the risers – ivory chairs, gold pads, ivory runner with ivory and beige flower petals – tons of banked petals at the front and iron plant stands with english garden flowers in the front with curly willow, ivy and amaranthus.
So I guess I do not need anything in the chairs but thought the fans would be fun and add a little depth to the setting
So fans – keep or sell?

Your cake topper is AMAZING. Where did you find it?
And regarding the fans, is Las Vegas hot in October? If so, keep. If it tends to be in the 70s or below, sell.

Your color scheme is beautiful and would be stunning at any time of the year!

@lilacwire: I found it on Etsy – http://www.etsy.com/shop/sweetiecaketopper she customized the eggs for us but I just loved it and we looked at hundreds of toppers to find one that was vintage elegant but also whimsical
