It looks like no one will be using the hotel we set up for people. Just us.
The only one will be my FH’s brother, who is the best man. He’s a real cool, almost macho kinda guy. Honestly I wonder if he wouldn’t laugh if he got one, at a traditional one. Anyway he might not even have to pay to use the hotel b/c he has so many flight/hotel credits. He’s choosing to use the hotel, his wife and kids are coming the morning after (the day of the wedding).
I’m tired and want to cut corners. Should I make him a basket? I’d more readily just buy him something than “put together” something.

Since he is in the wedding as Best Man, just get him his attendant gift and skip the basket. I wouldn’t think of giving a welcome basket to someone who is in the wedding party because they won’t have the extra time to visit the city or anything, they have to go to the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and they will be with the bride/groom all day the day of the wedding. I think you could just buy him a gift and have it be his Groomsman gift.

I wouldn’t worry about it. He wont care nor will he miss it. Good luck!!!

I definitely wouldn’t worry about it!
And they are never necessary anyway!

The reason we’re doing welcome bags is because we won’t see our out of town guests as much as if they were visiting normally. You’ll see FH’s brother plenty so I wouldn’t worry about a welcome basket.
