Since he is in the wedding as Best Man, just get him his attendant gift and skip the basket.  I wouldn’t think of giving a welcome basket to someone who is in the wedding party because they won’t have the extra time to visit the city or anything, they have to go to the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and they will be with the bride/groom all day the day of the wedding.  I think you could just buy him a gift and have it be his Groomsman gift.

I wouldn’t worry about it.  He wont care nor will he miss it.  Good luck!!!

I definitely wouldn’t worry about it!

And they are never necessary anyway!

The reason we’re doing welcome bags is because we won’t see our out of town guests as much as if they were visiting normally. You’ll see FH’s brother plenty so I wouldn’t worry about a welcome basket.
